The park is fortunate enough to receive a grant from the SRPA yearly that we match with the money received from fundraising, this was the year to start some improvements on existing buildings in the park.
The Summer Kitchen received a brand new exterior which included 2 glass windows and a new door on the back side. The front got a new roll up window and a sliding door. The walls have new tin all around.
The 3rd Cabin has new tin all around, new windows and a door. We have plans to gut and refinish the inside to make this a rental in the near future.
The hall received an interior paint job, some new lighting and a brand new rustic bar. We hope to rent the hall out more for weddings, meetings and other things now that it’s brighter and more inviting.
